ANGER MANAGEMENT FOR TEENS AND PARENTS
We offer Court Approved services while providing teens and their families a confidential environment to learn how to deal with teen related issues, anger behavior at home or school, truancy, relationship abuse and familial issues. We address and teach effective parenting skills so parents and teens connect and communicate in a healthier way. We serve individuals and groups. Voluntary clients are welcome. Sliding scale available.
AMS is available to train and educate local community agencies on anger management and abuse relationship issues. If you would like to volunteer as a group guest presenter and present a related topic, please call (805) 845-2900.

TEEN ABUSE PREVENTION & EDUCATION
Our prevention program advances effective teen dating violence prevention policies and programs through leadership, advocacy, and local network of prevention resources dedicated to promoting healthy relationships and preventing teen dating violence. Teen Education "Safe Dating" and "Anger Management Workshops" are available year-round and county-wide for presentations on teen dating abuse and anger management issues. We provide effective interactive presentations and activities in high schools, colleges, and universities, and any professional settings who is interested in learning about Preventing Dating/Domestic Abuse. Activities include a variety of related topics, including toxic jealousy, use of power and control on partners, stalking, social network bullying, harassment, and descriptions of all types of abuse. 805-637-3549 firstname.lastname@example.org
Our peer counselors offer community outreach to anyone who may be experiencing abuse and/or is inquiring about it. We provide information on how to recognize the sign of early abuse in youth and adults, develop safety plans and/or what steps to take if you suspect abuse. We provide peer-counseling, information and local referrals linking survivors to important local resources to survivors. We also train teachers, and service providers to report abuse and review how to identify early signs of youth dating abuse in children and students. We are available to anyone who is concerned with the problem of teen abusive relationships.
