Viviana Padova earned her Master’s Degree in Social Services at the Facultad de Derecho y Ciencias Sociales at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1980. She has been working in the Social Service field since then.
In 2002 she moved to the United States and she has been providing services to the Hispanic population. She worked in various non-profit agencies serving disabled children, foster parents, and children. She was a member of the Asociacion Latinoamericana, who provided scholarships for high school students in need of financial assistance to attend college.
Viviana has been providing the 52 week Batterers Treatment Intervention Program to Spanish and English speaking clients in Lompoc and Santa Maria, as well as working with the Santa Barbara Superior Court and the Probation department since 2002.
Simultaneously, Viviana is serving the elderly through the Long Term Care Ombudsman Program in Santa Barbara North County; she is also a board member of the North County Rape Crisis and Child Protection Center.
